Next in Korea (nextinkorea.com) is a travel information website. This policy explains what data is handled when you visit, and how. Last updated: July 19, 2026.
Data we collect
You can read this site without creating an account, and we do not ask you to register. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. These logs are not used to identify individual readers.
If comments are enabled and you leave one, the name, email address, and comment text you submit are stored with the comment. Your email address is not published.
Cookies
This site uses only technical cookies needed for basic functions such as page caching. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers of our own. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.
Embedded third-party content
Articles may embed content from third parties, mainly Google Maps (for locations and routes) and YouTube (for official tourism videos). When a page with an embed loads or you interact with it, the provider (e.g. Google) may collect data and set cookies under its own privacy policy, as if you had visited that service directly. Where an embed cannot load, we always provide a plain text link as an alternative.
Affiliate links
Some articles may contain affiliate links to booking or tour platforms. If you click one, that partner may set cookies to attribute the referral, and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships are disclosed near the links themselves.
Your rights
If you have left a comment, you can request to see or delete the personal data stored with it. Contact the site operator and we will handle the request promptly.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our data practices change, and revise the date at the top.
